DRE FEATURED ON STYLE ME PRETTY!

Tim & Tami II

I love this last little detail from Tim and Tami's wedding last Saturday at Elings Park so much. Tim and Tami wanted a daytime wedding that would capture the joy and natural beauty of a park setting. A little more casual, a lot more interactive, lawn games and tea dresses, etc. However, they didn't want the party to end at 5pm ... especially when all their guests came from so far to be with them. So they rented three old fashioned trolleys from Santa Barbara Trolley Co. and took their guests on a 2 hour tour/bar crawl through downtown Santa Barbara. How fun is that!

With 150 guests, Tami needed to know how many trolleys she would need, so she incorporated this adorable Trolley ticket into the invitation to let guests know her plan and have them RSVP for the trolleys as a separate event. Btw, Tami designed these tickets herself!
Such a fun idea and such a creative presentation. I just love this couple and I just LOVED this wedding ... Congratulations, you guys; I miss you already! xo

Last Friday I called Tami the DIY queen. A bride who really put so much thoughtfulness into her wedding at Elings Park this past Saturday, and really personalized every little detail. I am inspired by Tami; I know you will be too!

The (Glamorous) Life of a Wedding Coordinator

At first meeting, a lot of my clients believe that as a wedding coordinator I lead the glamorous life as depicted by Jennifer Lopez in the movie, The Wedding Planner. Well, not dispel that myth, but I thought I'd share a behind the scenes peek at my supposed glamour ...

This is my car Saturday morning, packed up and ready to go do Tami and Tim's wedding:
Somebody has to get all of those pieces that you put so much thought into to the wedding (programs, card boxes, escort cards, favors, etc., etc., etc., etc.). Not so glamorous, huh? But I do own a pair of Jimmy Choo shoes ;-D
