Venue: Rockwood Woman's Club

My feet hurt and I'm still a little tired, but what a weekend! Kristen and Brett's wedding on Saturday was off the charts gorgeous. The flowers, the lighting, the rental furniture, the cake ... OMG, the cake. The details were spectacular and I look forward to being able to share some fabulous photos with you down the road. Mary Jane Photography was on hand to capture it all, so you know they are going to be incredible!

In the meantime, I wanted to share some information about the venue. Rockwood Woman's Club is one of those ideal locations that is simply a blank canvas. A little creativity and this Spanish style clubhouse can be transformed into an absolute vision.
The hall is huge ... we had 220 guests on Saturday and it was very comfortable. There is also a garden room to the side that can be rented for an additional fee that would increase your capacity even more. Inside it's all hardwood with rafters and balconies and a stage (think head table or band). A little uplighting and you've got a great mood. The room is a little dark, so pin spots go a long way to highlight centerpieces and the cake. Bring in your caterer and they have full access to the kitchen.
The patio outside is perfect for a ceremony and/or cocktails. Lush surroundings and a quiet street make for a very private nook that is centrally located downtown.
